We can trust that the Father always has good reason for what He asks of us and that He works everything together for our good. Simple obedience is a form of praise and trust that delights His heart. We must never allow the approval of man to interfere with obeying God. Substitute offerings cannot redeem disobedience. We never know what small, simple act of obedience might unwrap the destiny of a person that God has ordained for a critical role.
